Tube (London Underground) maps are available from any London station and from tourist offices. Stations are split into six zones, depending on location,  and fares are charged accordingly.  Zone 1 contains most of the primary London tourist attractions.

Single tickets can be expensive (A single cash fare starts from GBP 3.00 depending on the zone) and you will find that the best way to get cheap London budget travel is by using Travelcards - daily, weekly and monthly travel passes that allow unlimited travel in the zones specified on your Travelcard.

Using a pre-pay Oyster card, reduces fare prices even more.
